Refund & Cancellation Policy

How to cancel your Monirum account, and the refund rules that will apply once paid plans launch.

Last updated: 14 January 2026Effective: 14 January 2026

Overview

Monirum is currently in early access. The service is free during this period and no payments are being collected. This policy explains:

  • How to cancel your account today.
  • What happens to your workspace data when you cancel.
  • The refund and cancellation rules that will apply once we introduce paid plans.
If you haven't paid us anything, there's nothing for us to refund. Cancelling your account at any time is free.

1. Cancelling your account

You can leave Monirum at any time. There's no fee, no notice period, and no form to fill in.

  • Personal account — open Account → Delete account in the app and follow the instructions there. Self-serve deletion is being wired up; today, you can also send us a message via the Help Center and we'll close the account on your behalf. Closing your account removes your profile, signs you out of every device, and drops you from any workspace you're part of. Personal data tied to your account is removed according to the Privacy Policy.
  • Workspace Owner — open workspace settings and choose Delete. The workspace is hidden immediately. You have 30 days to restore it from the Home Screen. After that, all teams, members, tools, and data are permanently deleted.
  • Leaving someone else's workspace — ask the workspace Owner or a Co-Admin to remove you from the workspace. Content you contributed while you were a member stays with the workspace owner.

2. What happens to your data

  • Your personal profile (name, email, sign-in details) is removed within 30 days of cancellation.
  • Workspace content you created in a workspace owned by someone else stays where it is unless that workspace owner deletes it.
  • Workspaces you delete — are hidden immediately. The Owner has 30 days to restore them from the Home Screen. After that, all teams, members, tools, and data are permanently deleted.
  • Backupsroll off from our hosting provider's database backups within their normal retention window.
  • Export your data first if you want a copy. Send us a message via the Help Center before you cancel.

A deleted workspace can be restored by its Owner from the Home Screen during the 30 days after deletion. After that window ends, the workspace and its contents are permanently deleted and cannot be restored.

3. Refunds when paid plans launch

When we introduce paid plans, the rules below will apply. Until then, no refund is payable because no payment is taken.

3.1 Monthly subscriptions

  • Cancel any time. You keep access until the end of the current billing month.
  • Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable in full or in part for the month that has already started.
  • You won't be charged again after the cancellation date.

3.2 Annual subscriptions

  • Cancel within 14 daysof the first payment for a full refund, provided you haven't used Monirum heavily in that period. Heavy use means a Monirum admin can see that the workspace has been populated with significant content (tasks, KPIs, time logs, inbox conversations) beyond a normal trial.
  • After 14 days, annual plans are not refunded pro-rata. You keep access until the end of the paid term.

3.3 When we will refund regardless of the above

  • We charged you in error — duplicate charge, wrong amount, or after you had cancelled.
  • Monirum was unavailable for a continuous period that breached any uptime commitment we've published.
  • The law where you live requires a refund (this policy never overrides your consumer rights).

3.4 How to ask for a refund

Send us a message via the Help Center with the email address on your account, choose Billing & refunds as the topic, and add a short note about why. We aim to respond within 7 days. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method.

4. Auto-renewal and reminders

When paid plans launch, subscriptions will renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle so the service doesn't cut off mid-month or mid-year. You can turn auto-renewal off any time from billing settings.

For annual plans, we'll send a reminder email at least 14 days before the next renewal so you have time to make a decision.

5. Disputes and chargebacks

If you think something on your bill is wrong, send us a message via the Help Center first. In most cases we can fix it within a few days.

Filing a chargeback with your card issuer before contacting us can result in your account being suspended while we work with the issuer. We don't fight chargebacks that are clearly correct — but raising one without giving us a chance to fix the problem first is slower for everyone.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when we introduce paid plans, change pricing, or the law changes. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top. For material changes that affect customers who already pay, we'll email account owners and give reasonable notice before the change takes effect.

7. Contact us

Questions about cancellation, refunds, or billing — send us a message via the Help Center and choose Billing & refunds as the topic.
